Si Jikun, an undergraduate from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Tsinghua University, embarked on a meaningful and fruitful journey during his academic studies. Driven by a passion for volunteer social work, he has dedicated his time and effort to numerous volunteer activities, extending a helping hand to other students in need. Tsinghua’s culture of encouraging students to make contributions to areas of the country in need deeply influenced Jikun to give back to his hometown after graduation.

One of the most memorable moments of his university journey was a field trip to Shanxi, where he learned the values of patriotism, entrepreneurship, selflessness, and striving for excellence. This valuable visit has further strengthened his determination to use his knowledge to serve the country.

After graduation, Si started his career life by working in a company in Xinjiang. In keeping with the spirit of Tsinghua, he is dedicated to making impacts in the frontier regions of the country. He sends his best wishes to Tsinghua University to achieve greater academic recognition in nurturing talents to meet the country’s needs while playing a crucial role in facilitating China’s modernization.
