The Chengdu Workshop on Quantitative/Political Economics (2018) was held solemnly in Southwest University of Finance and Economics on Nov. 24-25, 2018. The seminar was sponsored jointly by the Political Economics Research Center Featured with Chinese Characteristics, the School of Economics and the Institute of Marxist Economics of Southwest University of Finance and Economics, and co-sponsored by the Editorial Department of Economist and the Editorial Department of Finance & Economics of Southwest University of Finance and Economics. Experts, scholars and doctoral students from more than 10 universities attended the seminar, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Renmin University of China, Fudan University, Nankai University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Xiamen University and Sichuan University, reported their research achievements and carried out deep exchanges and discussions. As the only doctoral student invited, Sun Xiaoyu from the Institute of Economics made the keynote speech “Analyze the Stability in Profit Margin Drop and Non-equilibrium Adjustment Process: Expansion of Hanushekd’s Analysis Framework”.
